By downloading, installing, or using DocAZ, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Using DocAZ
DocAZ is a document scanning and organization app. The free plan works fully offline, with no account required, and includes unlimited local scanning and storage, folders and tags, offline search, up to 5 active reminders, and manual backup export.
A paid Premium subscription adds encrypted cloud backup, multi-device sync, and unlimited reminders. DocAZ does not show ads on any plan.
Subscriptions & billing
Premium is billed monthly or yearly through Google Play Billing, at the price shown in the app at the time of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can view, manage, or cancel your subscription at any time from Google Play's subscriptions page. Refunds are handled by Google Play according to Google's own refund policy - DocAZ does not process payments or refunds directly.
Your content
You retain full ownership of every document you scan or import into DocAZ. We do not access, review, scan for content, or share your documents. Documents are encrypted on your device; if Premium cloud sync is on, they remain encrypted in transit and at rest - see our Privacy Policy for detail.
You're responsible for the legality of the content you store, and for keeping access to your device and account secure.
Acceptable use
DocAZ is intended for organizing your own personal or business documents. Don't use it to store or process content you don't have the right to possess, or in any way that violates applicable law.
Account & termination
You can delete your account at any time from inside the app - see Delete Account & Data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Disclaimer
DocAZ is provided "as is." While we build it carefully and encrypt your data, we can't guarantee the app will be error-free or uninterrupted. We recommend keeping your own backup export of anything irreplaceable, in addition to relying on the app.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
