What DocAZ stores, and where
DocAZ is built to work fully on your device. Scanned documents, folders, tags, and reminders are stored locally on your phone, encrypted, and are not readable by other apps or a file manager.
On-device text recognition (OCR) is used only to power the local Find search index. That extracted text stays on your device — it is not sent anywhere.
Account & optional cloud backup
DocAZ works with no account at all on the free plan. Creating an account is only needed to enable optional cloud backup and multi-device sync, which is a paid feature. When cloud backup is on, your encrypted files are stored with our backend providers so they can be restored on another device.
Advertising
The free plan may show ads through a third-party ad network. Where required, DocAZ will ask for your consent before showing personalized ads.
Your choices
You can export a local backup of your documents at any time from Settings, and delete your account and its cloud data from within the app.
